Wudang Taiji Double Fan

Wudang Taiji double fan was originally called Yu NĂ¼ Shan and has it’s origins in Wudang taiji and the Wudang mountains where master Pei Xirong first learned the form, probably in the 1920’s from women in a daoist monastery. Master Gao Tieniao in turn learned it from master Pei.

The Wudang taiji double fan form, when practiced well, will apply both the theory of yin-yang and five phases (wu xing). It must be performed in a fluid motion containing chan si jin, silk reeling power, also prominent in taijiquan.
